We ship items out as soon as possible, but this will not always be the same day as your order. Depending on where the delivery site is, the time it may take for your items to reach you may vary.

You should receive an email confirming your order shortly after you’ve placed it. If you don’t receive that email, please check your spam folder and see if you can locate it. This is especially important because if you haven’t received the order confirmation email, you also won’t receive the email with shipment information and delivery timeframes.

Methods of Shipping Available

  • Standard Shipping

In general, Standard Shipping takes between 3-7 business days for items to arrive from the date that it shipped out. Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to process before it is shipped. If we anticipate a longer lead time, it will be noted in the item description. If you do have any questions about the lead time on a specific item, please contact us at

  • Expedited Shipping (Next Business Day)

All Expedited Shipping orders are delivered the next business day after an order has been shipped. For example, if an order is placed on Monday before 1:00 PM, and shipped on Monday, the items will arrive by Tuesday. However, if an order is placed on Monday at 4:00 PM, then the items will be shipped on Tuesday and may arrive by Wednesday. OR, if the order placed on Friday at 4:00 PM, then the items will arrive by Monday.

Please Note:

  • Orders only ship on business days, that is, Monday – Friday, and do not include holidays and weekends.
  • Orders place after 1:00 PM EAT will begin processing the next business day.
  • For custom-made product orders, please allow 3 – 5 business days processing time.
  • Not all shipping methods are available for all shipping addresses and items.
  • Orders cannot be shipped to PO Boxes, and hence we will require a street address for all orders.
  • Shipping is only available within East Africa. We only ship to the following countries: Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, TanzaniaBurundi, and South Sudan.

International Orders

The Blea has suppliers from the East African region, and also from other regions around the World. Please note that you, the Buyer, are responsible for any VAT, duty, taxes and handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost, because it varies from country to country.

Items labelled ‘Shipped from Oversees‘ are sourced from overseas manufacturers, outside the East African region and/or from overseas, and may require up to 45 days to be delivered to your site.


We cannot guarantee that you will or will not be charged any customs taxes and duties. Any customs or import duties are charged once the package reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the package.

Prices are shown in Kenya Shillings (KES). For conversion, we recommend using the ‘Select Currency’ converter available on the Site. Items will be sold at the price listed on the Site when the Order is made by the Buyer.

When ‘Expedited Shipping’ is selected, orders will be shipped by an express carrier of our choice. This shipping method typically carries a higher transportation cost.

However certain hazardous, oversize and easily damaged items cannot be shipped by normal carriers and will require special shipping arrangements. This shipping arrangement may also, carry a higher transportation cost.
